Educational Philosophy

Our university is founded on the spirit of Jesus Christ’s love and salvation. With the motto “Reverence for Heaven and Love for People; Humility, Perseverance, Excellence, and Determination,” we follow the example of Dr. George Leslie MacKay—“Better to burn out than to rust out.” Our vision is to become a model medical university that integrates MacKay’s humanitarian spirit with academic and professional excellence. To cultivate medical professionals who love others as themselves and care for the disadvantaged, we actively promote the following institutional development strategies:

  1. Create a well‑rounded educational environment to cultivate quality talent.
  2. Develop distinctive research to enhance academic and clinical innovation.
  3. Respond to contemporary needs and explore innovative, sustainable opportunities.
  4. Uphold our faith‑based mission and fulfill social responsibility.
